JUCE HOTEL

Ambalangoda, Sri Lanka, November 2015 

The design scope required the conversion of an existing old beach hotel into a budget friendly yet upbeat hotel with a focus on design. Lalin Design created the brand JUCE and the iconic emblems and color theme for the brand. Elements like traditional masks and laser cut mask plates were used to bring in a local touch. Custom swing chairs were designed and made along with bean bags. Lalin Design created unique steel bar stools. The rooms were equipped with hue changing lights which guests could control with an app, to enable guests to alter the hue of their room based on their mood.
