The second property in the Casa Colombo Collection. Mirissa is a uniquely styled beach hotel located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. It is housed in a newly constructed building, where Lalin designed and transformed the home into a boutique hotel. The hotel's design was intended to create a beach-house feel which was accomplished with coastal touches like shells, coral, driftwood and distressed finishes. Lalin custom designed the paper clip chairs, concrete cast desks and counters. Antique chests were converted to minibars. Antique glass bottles were converted to lamps, and the bright pops of color added to the beachy vibe. 

 

Casa Mirissa won numerous awards for it's design as one of the best boutique hotels in the world.
